This is a great card which I would have given 5 stars if not for the coil whine which other users have reported as well.

In the event you plan on purchasing it, know there is a chance you may get a card with coil whine, and it's fairly prominent with EVGA FTW 1070 cards

I am not getting any coil whine, and everything just works

The coil whine is extremely annoying as I don't use headphones most of the time but the horizontal lines are more concerning

The coil whine was the clincher, constant at 40% idle fan rate to loud through gaming and at any power rating

Currently on second card, which the fans have terrible coil whine and even make knocking noises once the card starts to warm up

They probably come with Micron memory too but at least you get a better built card that wont Overheat, has working LEDs (STRIX has RBG LEDs too), and less chance (or less severe) Coil Whine.

Other than the coil whine (which is disappointing), I'm pleased with this card overall, and I'd recommend it anyone who wants an RGB card with great performance

Anyways, went to this card, it worked, no coil whine, good temps, performed well and is still performing well after over 2 years on a 1080p 144hz tn monitor and now now on my new 1440p 144 hz ips monitor

Before it started messing up, it was tearing right through anything I could toss at it with no coil whine and fan sound that couldn't be heard over my other fans.

Disappointingly, my card has some coil whine which I could hear only when the case side panel was off
