It is meant to be installed with a trem arm spring, to keep it in place, as sometimes it can be screwed in, and have enough play to make noise, and the trem spring is designed to hold it in place

My other two Fenders are 80's Japan and are two of the best Telecasters I've ever played

Works as it should.
