this review is for the 1 inch cutteri used Netflix envelope paper so people will understand what kind of paper thickness this tool can handle1x sheet thick: yes no problem2x sheet thick: yes but you must squeeze slowly3x sheet thick: yes but not recommended as the handles are made of plastic with no metal reinforcement, and bend when you squeeze eventually the handles will break, this tool can handle paper thickness of a Netflix envelope up too 2 sheets thicki use my tool to punch out paper tokens i print out for board games so it works well for this project perfect 1 inch circles

I love this tool because it has been very useful and I have generated very beautifull things with it.

I may have gotten a faulty item, but I wasn't able to get a clean punch all the way around the circle

It looks like the metal part that punches through wasn't the right size and hits the opening

I purchased the 3 incremental sizes and they work flawlessly together for cardmaking, photo cropping and matting!

I use this with my bottle caps to cut out inserts and this is just the right size to fit inside the bottle caps I also purchased from Amazon.

However, if you are looking for something that can cut 1 inch circles out of paper, and not concerned about using the actual punch outs, this product likely won't work

So if you're hoping to punch your paper towards the center of your project, or perhaps as a way for your project to hang, it cuts the circle too close to the edge

The paper that you are punching needs to be somewhat stiff, these do not punch tissue paper or old newspaper/comic book paper well.

I wanted to use two hands to stabilize the paper for precision (because of the awkward sideways position), but when I let go, the paper would slide around.

Would recommend to anyone who needs a 1 inch hole punch!

I was looking for a 1" hole punch and chose this one because of Fiskars good name.

I have 30+ of these to do and was hoping a hole punch would keep me from scissoring 30 tokens

I would buy it again if I ever have need of another large hole punch.
