In a very bright day, if you set ISO at 6400, aperture at 8 and speed at 1/1000, and shoot with manual pre-focusing, you can have really satisfying action photo results.

Best use: sunny days, even with OIS, set shutter at 500 or 1000 for best result.

first I got the kit lens 18-55 with my X-E3, which I was super super happy with..super great results with that lens

One thing I will say is that through careful sharpening, you can get very good results.
