It easily takes a stack of 50 pages and feeds them without double feeds or paper jams.

The other thing to be aware of is that if the paper jams, the ScanSnap often deletes not only the page that jammed, but the page before that one as well.

Only negative is when you are scanning multiple sheets at one time sometimes the paper jams but its easily fixed

Occasional paper jams do happen especially when scanning documents made of very thin material or when documents are not properly aligned on both sides

You will clear literally dozens, possibly hundreds of paper jams for each box of old files that you wanted to scan.

If you don't edit that ofter or much, it's Not that much of an issue.- Paper jams will occur so you can't just blame This particular model

Many sequential pages that were folded/creased in the same manner (bi or trifold) will increase the likelihood of a paper jam

It is very fast and I rarely have issues with paper jams or pulling more than one sheet at a time

I've not had any problems with paper jams other than for old papers with torn edges

I will make this short.first week of use - no problem and few paper jams which was ok.second week of use - more paper jams showing and died (Win7 don't see the scanner anymore but the scanner has power)Win7 sucks or the scanner

My only other pet peeve is that I wish there were was a way to occasionally disable the automatic paper jam detection, and/or a better way to tell the software that it's ok

Compact, fast, user-friendly, easy to clear paper jams, we are clearing out our filing cabinet in record time.

Since that time I have used it almost daily to scan and e-mail documents - both one-sided and two-sided - and have never encountered any problems except for the occasional paper jam if the paper is too thick or the pages are stuck together.

The Scansnap S1500 scans both side at once very quickly and the software bundled with it is excellant, however if you are going to purchase one to scan your magazines as PDF files as I did, be aware that if the magazine you are scanning has very thin paper you will get multiple paper jams
