One of the best things I have ever bought!

This works perfectly and is the best scanner I've come across in over three years of trying different things out.

This thing crushes the multi-thousand dollar machine at work.

There is some tinkering you have to do, but this thing is fast and that alone makes up for any fine tuning I need to do before I scan in batches.

if you want something to OCR or turn something into a PDF quickly and easily - this is it and it, it even does it double sided...and in technicolor (ok, just color).It's not perfect, but for the money it's probably the best thing out there

I thing scansnap got lazy with the software.

Probably the most aggravating thing is that if your original copy is off center, it will REALLY show when you scan it

Combined with my Kindle (e-ink tech being the greatest thing since sliced bread), I get to have my cake and eat it too.

This unit is surprisingly small (which is a good thing).Took less than 10 minutes from opening the box to scanning.

It will do some cool things like scanning to email, scanning photos, etc

It was very easy to set up, doesn't take up a lot of deskspace, and the best thing about it is that it will upload scans to my MSFT Share Point database and will also scan business cards and put the information in my Outlook contacts for me.

The accompanying software is reliable,and this thing just makes life so much easier.
