For those rare occasions when I am expecting guests and would like to watch a movie together, I thought that a portable projector could be a less costly and less space occupying alternative to owning a television.

The HD doesnt at all look HD and its not as good as the last projector we had

It doesn't have the bells and whistles that more expensive projectors have, but it does the job

We even tried putting some anime (One Piece, Naruto, Tokyo Ghoul) through Netflix, and sincerely, my brother (10 years old) prefered watching it in the Wii U tablet than in the 100" screen projected (I believe this says its quite bad quality, right?)Anyways, if you're expecting a cheap projector, 800x600 resolution to play in dark room (not a lot of image quality -or none at all?-) you should be fine

For sure you can buy a better projector, but at a much higher cost, and only you can decide whether that is worthwhile.
