Worst thing is amazon will not let me return it for some reason, even though i only bought it two weeks ago

The ability to cut specific lengths made things nice and easy to formulate around whatever your intention is.

Good thing I didn't buy the "cool"!

These things are BRIGHT at 12V, although they do run warmer than I expected them to

One strange thing though

Here is a list of my favorite things about this product:It is both cuttable and joinable at 1-inch intervals, and there is a clearly marked line for cutting and contacts for soldering

The other thing to note is if you use the connectors to chain additional lights, they work in one direction - so just make sure you turn them on before installing otherwise you'll have to turn them around

This is a fantastic product I can not say enough good things about.

These are really easy to solder to (buy the cheap 3rd hand thing from harbor freight!), so personally, I would avoid the finicky no solder connectors they sell.

Only thing i had to do was scrape the leads to solder them b/c of the coating which is a good thing

Ultimately, no matter how you slice it, these things are awesome

Couple things to note: the adhesive on the backside is not the greatest and seems to run down the wall on warmer days which leaves behind streak trails

I got these to jazz up my fish tank and they work well to brighten things up

It brightens things up considerably

It like doesn't reflect off black, so it keeps things dark, but it lights up everything you need to see

That aside truly and great buy, these things are incredibly versatile and the 3M two sided tape will stick to almost any surface and for the asking price you honestly couldn't find a better deal

The only thing is that these things are HELLA BRIGHT

The flexibility of being able to cut and shorten or lengthen them makes them a great thing for live music shows.

The great thing about these lights is that they're very affordable.

These things are amazing and really bring rooms to life.

because I admitted to buying the wrong thing

Not a bad thing, but if you are thinking of a soft light under your kitchen cabinets, this is not what you want.
