• Reviews around battery (1.99 of 5)

    HP 10bII+ Financial Calculator (NW239AA)

    • Conveniently, the battery died for the second time 35 days after the purchase
    • According to my professor it has an everlasting battery and he has been using it for 3 years everyday without any
    • but I guess you sent the broke one to me as it's not working because of probably dead battery.
    • a side note, though the calculator functions fine, keys are a little loud/clacky which makes furious calculating v conspicuous, but otherwise functions fine when it doesn't drain the batteries out of no where
    • I checked all my batteries and they work fine
    • There is no indication that the batteries are dead or low
    • Battery was dead, I had to spend $9 for batteries.
    • The batteries that came in the brand new calculator were completely dead
    • Positives: firm buttons, cheap calculator, light weight and thin profile, fair cover, low power costNegatives: cheap materials, power button is inconveniently easy to use (so you might be draining your battery while the cover is on!)I noticed some reviewers indicated that the batteries it came with were already dead: that was not the case for me, however I can see how the batteries may have died while the cover was over the calculator
    • Instead of returning I thought that it might just be a battery problem, but the thing just died on me again with a fresh battery with maybe 5-6 total hours used
    • This product was sent to me with dead batteries!
    • I purchased another battery and it still did not work
    • These had physical and design issues (battery compartment broke on the 19bii, the 6 key sticks on the 12c Platinum)
    • I have to open up the back and take out the batteries, then put the batteries back in for it to work
    • My only complaint is that the buttons aren't soft, so they make a taping noise as you push them.
