The reason I purchased this phone because it was an inexpensive phone with impressive features that give you the experience of an $800 phone.

Do not believe the negative feedback, at $300 this is a great featured phone that is fast, reliable, and compare with any other phone in value

There are tons of reviews that go into more detail, so I'll touch on some of nice little features of each area

There will also be a EMUI 5 and Android Nougat update in Feb 2017 that will streamline the OS and bring in some great features

On top of that, this phone has some awesome hidden features like being able to assign functions to 'knuckle gestures'

The UI takes a bit of getting used to but it had a lot of nice features and the fingerprint scanner/button is fantastic

There are some very nice little features built in like "Glove Mode" and "Eye Comfort" (for night reading) among others that are well worth exploring

Along with the complete solution of the issues it updated the existing features more smart and pleasant

The dual slots for the Sim cards/Memory card (2 sim cards or 1 sim and 1 memory card) is a great feature

And I love another rather unique feature of this phone

And though I do miss stock Android quite a lot, the weird OS Huawei installs is inoffensive and has some neat features (especially scheduled power on and off!).Also, it has USB C. Huge plus

This feature is very useful when you want to lock down apps that you would like to keep private

The H8 also has some other cool features, such as quick access to up to 3 apps via various finger taps on the rear finger print button, recognizes face locations in pics and allows for both screen and video grabs

I don't even know how to use the basic features yet (new contact info sometimes is not visible in Contacts), but the additional features of this phone are amazing.

It's sad to see cool features like dual cameras and even an ir blaster so it can be used as a remote but no wifi calling and texting

It really looks and feels like basic Android with some very cool features.

EMUI has some good and not so good features but you can download a launcher like Google now to make it feel much more like stock Android if you want that experience

The dual camera lenses is a nice feature.

Plus this phone comes with Android Marshmallow, which has some really great new features

Other than that the speed, camera, and cool features on this phone like the "wheres my phone" feature are awesome takeaways from such a mid range flag ship phone

Some of the features are a little hard to find in the menus and I do miss the quick "flashlight" feature but that can be programmed into your back fingerprint smart button

But it's got good features, If you don't need the latest bells and whistles (waterproof, squeeze sides, curved screen, etc) this will have all the features a regular use will want

Some are actually nice, and there are some good features built in (apparently you can have two different Facebook logins, for example)

Fingerprint reader is fast, camera is very good with advanced capabilities, battery life is excellent (full day) and some other cool features, like IR remote control, eye comfort mode, and ultra battery mode.

The only two quirks I have yet to figure out is why my Plantronics Voyager Legend headset keeps regressing back to not having smart features

I have used this phone for nearly 6 months now and absolutely love the speed and fingerprint feature.

The EMUI has many good features like clean up, customize fingerprint key for shortcut launching app, battery consuming app reminder like Google maps service background even you close the Google maps

There is one slip of paper that seems to explain some cool features, but this will only help after you get to the settings or home page

If you expect support from Huawei if you do have trouble down the road, then run away from this phone as fast as you can

The 3000 mah battery surprised me, last way more than my 3200 mah Samsung devices, don't even want to compare with iPhone battery as they sucks always.

This is both a good and bad thing, good as in apple are lords of physical design; even android users should be able to admit that

Keep in mind in the USA it will only work with T Mobile and AT&T and other resellers/sub dealers ( like Metro PCS ) that use GSM technology

It's been used on the T-Mobile unlimited data plan in the Washington DC area

It requires some care to prevent scratches, charges super fast, very responsive, I use it with T-Mobile and the hotspot works
