Coming from a Nexus 6P that suffered issues with battery life and holding on to a T-Mobile connection, I had high hopes the Honor 8 could match that $550 beast without its two major flaws
-
I love the fingerprint locking, and am happy to report I had no issues with it being unable to read my fingerprint (although, if you did have a problem, then you'd just use your pin number)
-
There are a few significant issues unfortunately, which made me return this phone to go back to a Nexus 5X.First because it's easiest to explain: the screen collects scratches very easily
-
After going through 3x LG G-series phones in as many years due to lousy build quality (bad touchscreen, screen detachment, bad motherboard/boot loop issues), I decided to abandon the brand

-
Update (10/23/2016)Like another reviewer, I've experienced more than a few unacceptable performance issues
-
While not a huge issue, I also miss having the album art to a song I'm playing show on the lock screen
-
Audio/Headphone problemA HUGE negative for her (the deal killer) was a strange issue with the audio when switching from speaker to headphones
-
However, one issue I continue to struggle with is bluetooth automobile connectivity
-
Will update the review if I encounter any worth noting issues.
-
They have horrible quality issues as well as terrible, close to non-existent customer service.
-
I'd suggest going with the white model if you must, as the silver frame is less likely to show such sloppy build issues
-
This is an okay device, but I'm going to post here a few weird issues that are unbearable that you should be
-
Hopefully this is just a defective model, other wise i'm replacing it with a Xaomi.
-
but I like this phone BETTER than my S5!!Does everything I've needed it to, & fast
