Perfect for my short trip and provided enough data for simple tasks such as Google Maps and communication via LINE.

And like I said, once properly setup, the SIM card works very well in Japan at a very reasonable cost

The app also made applying the proper NTT APN an amazingly painless process
I ended up using just under 3 gigs of data during my trip but the top up process was very easy and about $14 per gig at the current exchange rate
The process with this card was much easier as I could use their app (downloaded days before my trip) to activate the changes after we landed while still offline

I prefer other SIM cards which just throttle you down to a slower 4G speed.
1GB for 15days is not enough if you are a heavy data user.
I was all prepped to reload if needed, but unlimited or 5GB limit for 15days would have been better for me.
The initial price for the SIM card, SIM ejection tool, and 1 GB of data is reasonable
I thought I would need more, but in the end, 1GB of data was sufficient for my 10 day trip there

In my opinion, the price for top-ups are also reasonable
However, since I was unable to use it, I returned it and was promptly refunded the purchase price.
You can purchase additional bandwidth as necessary for a reasonable price.

The app was easy to use and it did the rest of the set up on our iPhones with only a couple prompts
App: I was afraid that the app that is recommended to use with this SIM card would be buggy, but I have found that it works great
Their special app is very useful as it shows your data consumption and has a built-in option to top up, among others
The associated app makes it easy to activate the card before you leave
I would recommend this card and use an app like Facebook or Whatsapp to make phone calls or text using this data SIM

After getting through the setup, the usage of the SIM was very smooth; speeds were around 3G, which is more than enough for Google Maps and loading standard websites, and coverage via Docomo was great, even outside Tokyo
I prefer other SIM cards which just throttle you down to a slower 4G speed.
The coverage was excellent in all of the many major cities and even underground.
Tokyo is great and all, but I actually spend more time in Japan's smaller towns/cities and rural areas and I have found that NTT has great LTE coverage even in lesser populated areas as well

This is an easier solution than what we experienced in the past purchasing a SIM from a BIC Camera store in Tokyo

This solution, used with my iPhone SE, worked much better
I rented wifi hotspot device for my rest of the family to watch video etc, but for light to moderate internet use while traveling in Japan, using this SIM was one of the most economical solution for me.
