The service worked beautifully in all locations I visited in Japan, though I never tried streaming video (which you probably wouldn't want to do anyway)

I just hope they would improve their service as they have a potentially great product.

Make sure you enable WiFi calling in USA because it can need a call to tech support, but for international travel it gives you roaming fee-free use of your own cell phone and service as if you were still in USA
