I had new strings put on at a local shop because the strings it comes with are terrible, but it still seems to fall out of tune after several minutes of playing, which is kind of important in a stringed instrument

I also recomend you order strings when you order the Uke

but they're holding a lot longer (full day) than the reviews claim the cheap strings did

I don't think you'll have to buy new strings immediately after getting it, unlike the one I bought from a different seller ( the strings looked like fishing

The strings that it comes with are great and will work fine for a long

Others suggest to replace the strings upon receiving it, but these strings are perfectly fine once it has time to stretch

With good strings, the sound is awesome.

Seriously - invest in good strings

This is my first uke, so I'm not going to be giving expert advice, but I must say that I am pleased with it!The strings aren't that great

I personally like the soft beginner strings because they don't hurt my fingers

Honestly, I couldn't tell that the black strings were bad until I put the Aquilas on

The C string was a half step sharp when fretted - after trying everything, nothing would fix it

It took me about 3 hours of tuning, playing, and working the strings to get it to hold a solid tune, and I'm glad that when the process was over that I had good sounding strings at the end of it as a payoff

I didn't like the strings on it, and it is better after I changed them out for fluorocarbons.

It sounds very pretty with just the original strings and the build quality is great, but the materials are somewhat cheap.

The strings on it aren't that bad, I don't think, but then again I've never had any other strings

I gave this 4 stars because the black strings that come with this are definitely not good, like everyone says

As some have said, the strings aren't the best (or so it seems, I haven't replaced them yet).

I do suggest you buy better strings, they are easier to play for a beginner.

I changed the strings to the Aquila AQ-4 soprano regular set high G ukulele strings because I did not like the ones it came with
