One warning however, if you are very tall or have big hands, I highly recommend a concert or tenor pineapple ukulele.

Nice enough ukulele for my girlfriend to be excited about learning to play it!

I really like this ukulele

Another minor complaint is that pressing down on the strings on the first fret require more strength than the other frets, which can make it hard to get a nice sound out of the instrument (especially if there are no calluses on the fingers yet). But for the price, this is a great ukulele

It's great for anyone who wants a decent beginners ukulele

I highly recommend the Ukulele for Dummies book for the first timer

Best ukulele for the money

If you are like me and love the beach or to surf and good music I would recommend this ukulele 100

I have since owned many more expensive ukuleles, including K-brand ukes that are over $700, and are supposedly "set-up" from one of the community favorite ukulele sites
