The transponder code still works, so I can still use the key to start the car (and open the door), as long as the alarm never gets set
-
The keys didn't work it shut down my 2012 Chevy cruze LTZ when I brought it to the dealer for programming
-
I would highly recommend these replacement keys to everyone.
-
I love my keys
-
Dropped keys on the ground once and it shattered.
-
So i purchased my key fobs from amazon and had batteries plus program my keys for $35 they came to my house for a fee of $15 i saved so much money getting these keys and they work fine
-
cheap and once cut programmed easily by myself ( simply put old key in ignition and start car...turn off and remove and immediately put in new car and start) whala!
-
Also in hopes this may help someone in need, I completely lost my only and original key so this was a replacement not spare
-
they used my one good key to duplicate and they automatictly programmed themselves when I started the car
