    Kingston 240GB A400 SATA 3 2.5" Internal SSD SA400S37/240G - HDD Replacement for Increase Performance

    • Good value, easy install, somewhat complicated configuration (as expected), and great performance rescued this laptop from the recycler!
    • So I decided to reload windows 10 and go with fresh install.
    • i even put windows 10 on it from a hdd without doing a fresh install and went from an intel build to amd without fresh installation and it gave me no issues, so that alone is a pretty good testimate to how nice these things operate and how user friendly they are
    • It had Win 7 32-bit installed on the old HDD.
    • Used a free install of Macrium Reflect and imaged the old SSD onto the new SSD, had to monkey around with the recovery partition a bit as well as delete the original partitions, but was able to boot into this new SSD within 30 minutes of installation
    • By doing that, and with a fresh OS install, machines that were almost unusable due to the slow boot and poor general performance got back to work just fine
    • Install was super easy and quick and haven't had a single problem
    • The install is easy enough - just look for a guide online.
    • Put this in my dell laptop was an easy install and worked no problem very good for the price.

    • This SSD is phenomenal for the price, performance is literally night and day vs a HDD, if you have a laptop/desktop showing its age pop a new SSD in and a fresh install of windows 10 and it feels like a brand new computer, got this for my cousin and a friend a while back

    • upgraded HP laptop 15 (15-ay197cl) from HDD and the computer has never ran as fast as now
    • These drives are outstanding when used for persistence with Linux Live Disk OSs, as well as when used with Fedora's immutable Silverblue OS
    • Not as much storage as I’d like but enough for the price, really fast boot times.
