KODAK Mobile Film Scanner - Fun Novelty Scanner Lets You Scan and Play with Old 35mm Films & Slides Using Your Smartphone Camera - Cardboard Platform & Eco-Friendly Toy LED Backlight

    • Difficult to use, I am going to use one of my very fine pro cameras
    • so the phone's camera is quite capable and I could not get usable scans.
    • It made sense to use a good camera and just pay for the scanning part; but when I opened the box and found it was made of cardboard, I almost sent it back right away
    • I suspect the quality this will yield will only be as good as the film positive/negative and the camera in your smart phone
    • There is only one hole for the lens and if you have a more sophisticated camera on your phone, like the 11 with three lenses, then this is silly and can't work
    • If you have a top-rank camera it is at best, only a fair scan
    • The photos are only as good as your camera
    • It matters little how good your camera works--it is still blurry and poor quality.
    • I have an iPhone which has a decent camera
    • just my phone’s basic camera app, and it worked great
    • It maybe partly due to the superior camera and edits which are now available on the iPhone 11promax
    • Don't waste your money; couldn't get camera to pick up the negative; light was not adjustable.
    • I'd read reviews about more expensive scanners that indicated our cell phones have better cameras
    • If your phone has a good camera, the pictures taken from your slides will be great
    • The Kodak scanner looks cheap( made of thick cardboard) but coupled with a good iPhone camera it produced fantastic results .You place the negative on the (battery operated) lighted area on the bottom of the device, place your iPhone camera on the opening at the top , and three clicks later , the digital print is saved in your photo collection ready to be edited .
    • The light is so bright, the slide image is washed out in white on my iPhone 6s (notably bad camera, I admit)
    • I used an iPhone X which has a great camera
    • I good cell phone camera with the ability to focus this close will take as good of a quality picture as needed for 99% of people.
    • If you follow the directions, have a decent phone camera (I have an iPhone 6) you should be fine
    • Insert the batteries, turn on the light, slide the picture slide into the slots that hold the picture over the light, lay your camera on top of the scanner
    • The resolution is as good as your phones camera so if you have a recent phone, you will have great results.
    • A problem with all-in-one slide scanners is that the inexpensive ones have mediocre cameras, and the ones with good cameras are, well, expensive

    • Allows making digital copies with Kodak App, Your preferred Camera App, or even with a preferred PDF Scanner App
    • It works as it says it does
    • Although the quality isn't as good as if you used a professional film negative scanner, it's good enough and great bang for your buck.
