the paper inside is very nice it has a smooth texture that doesn't fuzz when erased on which is a big plus for me

I wanted to have paper available in the LR that matched my record and this is it!

It perfect size for Carring around say in a smaller bag and was true to photos, the paper is also really easy to switch out and most markers don't bleed

Feels sturdy, which I was worried about, and the paper is nice to write on.

The size of the notebook was perfect, but the paper is unattractive and uninviting to write on.

The papers are good for either taking notes or even sketching

Perfect size, the leather is high quality and feels like it will last, and the paper is perfect for pen and pencil

The paper seems like brown construction paper and it seems slightly darker than in the photos

Really nice journal, nice heavy bond paper, used for keeping notes on my offshore fishing trips

I ordered lined paper as I intend on writing more than drawing, but I'm keeping the unlined paper handy for doodling

I haven't tried the lined paper, but the paper that came with it isn't that great

Better journal than I could have anticipated, has binder like rings on the inside that let you remove pages without breaking the journal binding and contains a beautiful brown paper inside without lines so it’s perfect for writing notes and drawing while on a trip.

Good paper quality and has a nice vintagey look to it

Great size for traveling and the writing paper is really good quality also.

The only thing I wish is that the brown paper was not so dark, the brown paper is darker than the pictures, too bad it is not a lighter brown or beige

So I was expecting mediocre paper and got paper I probably won't use at all and now need to order paper

There are plenty of pages and the paper is nice and thick.

I like that you can take the paper out if you don't like something you wrote

Again, I wasn't expecting nice penmenship paper, but this was like a cross between cardboard and packing paper.

I love the quality of the material and the clasps are strong, yet so is the paper so it will not rip out easily

I really liked the flexibility to add more paper to it so the retiree could pull out the guest pages later and add fresh pages to use on her travels.

Very sturdy little ring-style journal, with thick replaceable paper, and a fun design

Nicely made - and pretty - appropriately priced - the only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that I don't like the brown paper it came with.

This journal is small in size but perfect for travel as it depicts a compass and can be stored easily

Looks just as good as in the picture!

She received this as well as $ which made her very happy.
