    • Some online researching done, I decided on this Lexar Professional 1066x Compact Flash memory card
    • I was hesitant to spend on a compact flash since I'm of the generation of SD

    • I was using this compact flash card for a client shoot and the card failed while in the camera

    • I've trusted Lexar compact flash cards for the past four years of my professional

    • This compact flash card was defective when I put it into my camera it bend the pins which turned into a $300.00 fix Lexar will not stand behind their product to pay for camera repairs

    • Instead, Amazon sent me the Lexar 800x compact flash card which is far slower and actually priced about a hundred dollars less.

    • I was able to offload the photos with a Lexar or and 2 other brands of USB3 Compact Flash reader at 110-160MB/sec (Windows 8.1 copy window speed display) on Fujitsu Laptop with USB3 port and Samsung 1TB SSD that benchmarks at just over 500MB/sec read/write.
    • Because Lexar comes with photo recovery, I am attempting to recover the images that are as of now not-readable, but the cards will be returned once that attempt has been made
