Both channels sound good to me depending on what I am playing
-
Great practice amp for small spaces, even better (way better) using clean channel to use distortion, boost, fuzz pedals to rock
-
The 15's all have a clean and dirty channel (switchable), as well as bass, mid and treble controls
-
so i mainly stay on the clean channel, which sounds pretty good.
-
I'm more after growl rather than crunch; the dirty channel seems more aimed at the latter, as in my opinion are Marshalls in general
-
I'm still figuring out how to program all the channels and work all the effects- the instructions it comes with are pretty good but experience is the best teacher when you're trying to get a certain sound
-
Clean channel has a usable sound, but it's not a clean sound with definition and punchiness
-
There are four channels, the "crunch" channel (the most authentic-sounding), a clean channel that is very good and sounds like it has some built-in compression which is a good idea, and two high-gain channels that are decent but not in any way "Marshally".
-
When I plugged in, I first played through the "clean" channel.
-
The clean channel, even plugged in straight, actually sounds pretty good
-
Clean channel is very good
-
Clean and clear as a whistleOVERDRIVE Channel: as crunchy as you could ever want itI really like this amp.
-
CLEAN Channel
-
I run a Boss Metal Core pedal through the clean channel and to be honest, it has the best rock/ metal sound that I've ever heard from a small practice amp
-
This does more for your sound then you expect it too as its real clean in the clean channel and gritty as you want it to be in the other
-
The clean channel is a bit
-
I like the clean channel mostly and can get some nice deep warm blues and also some good rockabilly country slap with my Tele and some delay.
-
The clean channel sounds fantastic and the overdrive channels have all the distortion you could possibly want
-
ehhhh, ok...they do the job.. but honestly, distortion pedals do a WAY better job through the clean channel..., Overall review
-
Use a distortion pedal on the clean channel
-
This is to be expected on the gain channel with such little head room but it is noticeable on the clean channel.
-
the dirty channel is okay, and you can adjust bass, mids, and treble.
-
That having been said, the dirty channel, while not awesome, is serviceable, not that I've used it much
-
Clean channel sounds great, crunch is
-
The clean channel preset is one of the best clean tones I have ever heard
-
I mainly use the clean channel with outboard effects
-
A clean, crisp channel, a thick power gain channel, for power chords & a more rock/roll sound
-
The only downside is the constant low buzz on both clean/distortion channels, but this amp definitely gets the job done as a little apartment jam amp.
-
In the clean channel it sounds smooth as you would expect from Marshall, and the gain channel with give you the classic older Marshall roar
-
It has 2 channels (Clean and Overdrive both have a separate volume knobs
-
BUT WITH EFFECTS (ME-70) THROUGH THE CLEAN CHANNEL THIS AMP
-
The clean channel sounds fantastic and the overdrive channels have all the distortion you could possibly want
-
WISH THE JCM HAD A TRUE CLEAN CHANNEL,ANYWAY
-
I would highly recommend as an at-home practice amp.
