    NETGEAR Wireless Router - N300 (WNR2000)

    • I must have been tired when I did it because I had a difficult time finding the on/off switch, but a second pair of eyes discovered it under a connection already made and the installation proceeded without any further difficulty.
    • Last router dropped all the time this unit is up and has not disconnected yet, works great
    • My router decided to block access to a specific website - I spent almost an hour on the phone with a tech; just enough time for them to tell me there was a problem.
    • Router's been losing connections every day, often several times a day, several times an hour, for the past week
    • After over 2 hours talking to their customer service in eastern Europe it became clear that the company's policy is to not honor their hardware warranty by forcing customers to waste endless time on the phone until they concede

    • I had a hard time deciding on a router, when my previous router from another brand began to go bad with dropped signals, since most of the router reviews were very mixed
    • Of courses, I can't really blame the company for the bad timing - I have come to assume that these pieces of crap can fail at anytime - but I certainly learned my lesson about buying this brand
    • Even if you're sitting right next to it, you can lose signal and often times, the router will just reset or refresh itself kicking off any connected devices.
    • We noticed immediately that our laptop has a very difficult time connecting to the internet as well.

    • Bottom line, don't waste any time on this product, even though it seems like a good value.
    • I've only been using it f short time but it works better than the Linksys router I previously had.
