Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP - Cobalt

    • And I don't really trust this foldable design, because it is more fragile
    • Clear screen, compact design.
    • Yes, the new Gameboy looks cool, but paying twice as much for a new design and a backlight is unreasonable
    • Then the GBA-SP came in 2003 to solve all those problems but it still used a front-lit screen (bad design decision), but soon after a redesign appeared (GBA-SP model AGS-101) with a powerful back-lit screen and it was (and still is in my opinion) the perfect gaming handheld
    • I've heard of some of the new features like the backlit screen, the clamshell design, and the lithium-ion
    • In addition, the GBA SP is sooo much more stylish: It's clean, crisp design looks good for any adult to own (I own the Platinum Edition and it's gorgeous.
    • The Gameboy Advanced SP is a slick designed handheld that is able to let you play all gameboy games
    • My other complaint is that while I LOVE the new clamshell design there is the potential that the connector going to the LCD will break or the entire other half will break off from a minor fall
    • However, the GBA SP has taken everything to a new level with its remarkably sleek design, nice cover, and built in light system.
    • This product is targeted at new older-aged gamers, but even if you own a GBA, the [money] might not be a big price to pay for the cool new design, smaller size, and lighted screen.
    • no new graphics, other than the sleek new design, the backlight, and the rechargeable battery pack, there's not much new
    • this smaller, sleeker design also serves to protect the screen from getting scratchedAll told, these additions are amazing, and saved me at least $25 (now that I don't have to buy all those add-ons from another company).I really enjoy my GameBoy Advance SP, and play all of the great new GBA games as well as my old black and white GameBoy favorites on it.
    • The folding design is awesome, especially since it goes to daycare with me and there are alot of little kids that just take it off the table and drop it
    • The SP has a nice clamshell design which makes it perfect for placing in to your pocket while keeping the screen protected
    • The SP's design is pretty neat
    • It boasts a very compact design while having a much-improved backlighting system for its display
    • I personally like the design and the size for kids to carry and play
    • Seeing it' sleek, compact design and the backlighted screen, I fell in love
    • but if tilt and tumble really means that much to you then backlit screen, super rechargable batteries revolutionary design, i guess its your loss
    • Sleek, portable design.
    • The lap-top design is a main effect
    • Cons: Didn't come with a game Ports in the rear are unprotected (uncovered) A little too smooth design
    • The design is genius; WAY better than the bulky, exposed screen of the previous
    • Also the clamshell design not only looks great but also protects the screen from fingerprints and scratches when not in use
    • My favorite improvement, by far, is the folding design
    • The folding design also minimizes incidental damage to the screen
    • PROS-excellent design-portable/efficiant-a light up screen from the
    • Wonderful D pad and classic Gameboy design.
    • First off, the design is great, it real feels like a GB again and it is really lightweight.
    • did!This is a well designed box
    • Two extra-bright screen settings, a huge game library, a sleek folding design and dark color, and a regular headphone jack....
    • Also check out the attractive new design, which appeals to all gamers even me
    • Also it has the nice clamshell design to protect the screen and when it folds up it can easily fit in your pocket.
    • The GBA is designed very well and fits nicely into one's hands
    • The lap-top design is a main effect
    • Sidelit screen that completly illuminates your gameplayClamshell design folds-down, making less annoying, horrible looking scratches on your screenRechargable battery saves money on buying batteriesCool design and
    • In my opinion I would gladly give up a little bit of comfort for a well lit screen and a sleek design
    • they are complaining even though it is the same price as the origional GBA started off but this unit has more features like : a rechargable battery, lit screen, sleek design, fold in screen to prevent scratches, and a portable design
    • Although, it does have a good design
    • Other then graphically, I like the design and games on the SP better then my Sony PSP.
    • I love it's sleek design and the fact that it is so portable which to me is very important
    • PROS-excellent design-portable/efficiant-a light up screen from the
    • The folding design protects the screen much better (anyone with a GBA knows how scratched they can become)
    • It is too bad that the SP wasn't made first, its sturdiness, wonderful design and the much needed backlight puts us that much closer to portable gaming perfection.
    • I recently purchased the new GBA SP and was very impressed with the sleek design and great performance of this product
    • PROS-excellent design-portable/efficiant-a light up screen from the
    • I love the new PDA type design, but some may not.
    • Add to that a sleek new flip top design and a size that fits into your pocket better than ever I think that you have the perfect example of what an affordable and effective handheld should be, a game machine designed for on the go that you won't have to throw into a lake in frustration when your phone conversation cuts out on you
    • However, the product has been well designed, so that most problems that could have occured are non-existant
    • Not too much later Nintendo released the GBA SP, I don't know if it was because they wanted a sleeker design to pre-counter the inevitable whip lash of Nokia's "Gameboys' for little kids" tactics, but it wasn't a bad idea
    • The Flip-Top design allows you to adjust the screen to suit your needs
    • The GBA SP's clamshell design makes it fold into a compact package of about 3"x3"x1" -- approximately the size of a wallet, but perfect for sliding into a pocket
    • The lap-top design is a main effect
    • All in all, with its wide variety of colors, impressive game selection, nice design, and light weight, the Game Boy Advance SP is worth every penny.
    • Wonderful D pad and classic Gameboy design.
    • ds i would highly recomend this one over the nintendo ds because the ds is cool but the screen is split and it can not play any games that the gameboys play so your best to get the gba sp
    • The light and battery and foldable screen and easier D-pad, A and B button pressing are 4 pros
    • I usually use my ds for gameboy games because of the back light, but I recently broke my ds hinges which made playing games while laying in bed awful
    • ds i would highly recomend this one over the nintendo ds because the ds is cool but the screen is split and it can not play any games that the gameboys play so your best to get the gba sp
    • Alright...well I purchased this gameboy with the intent of taking it to my daycare and playing it with the other kids who have gameboys
