New Nintendo 3DS Super Mario 3D Land Edition

I recommend getting the Super Mario 3D land bundle, its the same price, available, and it comes with a game (the games are surprisingly expensive)

I could have bought the special edition versions (like Happy Home Designer/Mario/Pokemon) but the games it came with didn't interest me (and the plates were not appealing)

Sure enough it was a NEW 3DS Super Mario White Edition with a $99.00 price tag stuck to it

As for the system I am very pleased with the Super Mario White design

Perfect for taking on the go on the train or the bus and games like Super Mario 3D land, Mario Kart 7 or any other platformer is great to play on-the-go

Instead, I received the Super Mario 3D Land New 3DS Game and System bundle

Super Mario Black

It's smaller than the XL, which I stepped down from, but the smaller screen size hasn't bothered me at all, and the white and black plates look fantastic, understated enough not to stand out but full of great Super Mario characters upon closer look (though I think the black one looks a bit better)

The system itself works great, and is a huge upgrade from my old pink Nintendo 3DS system, but I did not receive the Super Mario White Edition New 3DS

And the sleek black color + the super mario designs makes for a nice looking package

Pick up Super Mario 3D land or Pokemon if you like that.

The Super Mario Faceplates are beautiful, with an embossed white finish and a texture that's a nice combination of matte and gloss

I'm writing this review to clear up any confusion about whether the 3DS Super Mario Black Edition is an XL or non-XL

the one problem i had with it was that it came with a different game pre installed that wasn't mario as they promised, but aside that its a great buy when looking for a new system
