I bought a used one and the top screen was mildly damaged (odd scuffs)

My only concern is how the top screen is flimsy even fresh out of the box

The settings allow you to customize screen brightness, which I like

The volume tab, also very strangely, is on the top screen at the very left of the system (on the opposite side of the system is the 3D slider, where you can magnify the effect or reduce it/turn it off)

The one I bought was in used-acceptable condition from amazon warehouse deals because the "new" ones are up for double the original price, I've got to say, "used-acceptable" is a good description, the unit didn't come with the original box, or the manual or even the sd card that comes in new units, but that aside the 3ds was ok, no screen scratches or too much scufs, just a few dirt here and there

then the screen stopped working and the cursor moved on it own and then the sound went

It has a nice heft to it without being heavy, fits nicely in my purse, and the screen is bright and colourful

These systems seem to be very durable, easy to hold, nice size screens, and all the features that my girls (ages 12 and 10) will need.

The 3D works better with the head tracking, and the screen is definitely more crisp than the XL (I guess its obvious because same resolution on less space so higher pixel density)

I got the famous black screen of death, the power LED light turns on but both screens stay black, no matter what I did

There were no issues with the manufacturing of the product, and the screens are working great with no dead pixels

The volume slider is next the top screen on the left side.8
