The price is great at $130 (unfortunately not on Amazon).Note: I am an adult and feel that the marketing of this device to children is partly correct but also appeals to adults who want to relive past Nintendo goodness or discover a new DS or 3DS title for a small investment

as always Nintendo products are durable, price could have been cheaper then the $118.00 paid, but for years of use that is a great "deal"

Particularly good price point for people who don't use the 3D function.

The 2DS takes away the 3D function in exchange for a smaller price tag, which worked great for me

The factors that determined this purchase was the fact that it was an updated version of the DS, it seemed solidly constructed, it can play all the games we already have, and last but huge, the price was right

Plays all 3DS and DS games, lasts longer and in my opinion just a better overall more comfortable system for a cheaper price.

Imagine my delight when Nintendo announced the 2DS at a cheaper price!I received the 2DS on Saturday along with two 3D games and am very, very happy with the device

Kids and adults can grab the 2DS and have a blast, the changes are all positive for me and the price is just right

Overall, the 2DS is a great priced console that gives access to such an excellent library of games (like Pokemon Y and Fire Emblem Awakening).
