The only reason is you only get the WII REMOTE (no nunchuck), still a good remote, but Nintendo really has a bad habit of overpricing their accessories....many of which are essential.

Over the years, we've lost several Wii remotes, due to moving, leaving them at friends' homes, and giving away one of our two Wii consoles when my boys got older and moved on to Xbox consoles

He especially loves the little "M" for mario on the front.
