I highly recommend the Oculus Rift

I love the Oculus Rift and the Touch Controllers are amazing!

I contacted Oculus and they made me jump through all sorts of hoops to prove that I purchased a genuine Rift (since I didn't buy directly from them).

Fortunately, your Oculus Rift VR library will fill up with games far more exciting and thrilling than the tutorial (even though that is a very low bar).People have asked me about a number of factors related to the headsets, such as refresh, whether I get any headaches from extended play, etc

The Rift posed another issue for spectacle wearers like me.

Applications bought and played within the Oculus store are relatively easily to launch and play; others, launched from within Steam, while the RIFT is supported, many titles will force you to switch between keyboard, controller, headset on, headset off, over and over

This doesn't overly bother me, as I didn't want the Rift so that I could play Dactyl Wars 2016, but if that's the kind of experience you're looking for either wait or head over to the Vive store.

Oculus rift I have received is defective, with blank right screen, and I figured out, there are lots of cases like mine

Other than the small annoyance of getting too hot, the rift is really good

If the rift and touch broke or was stolen at $800, I would run and I mean run to the store to purchase both again.

We all love the Oculus Rift, specially my 19 yr old and his friends.

I now know that the original Rift was defective as I have used a replacement for many days now without a crash.

Now that the touch controllers are finally out, the Rift is worth owning

The RIFT is also relatively easy to setup, as compared with HTC's VIVE.

My husband loves his oculus rift, the best virtual reality headset out there.

The rift is 100% better for racing sims due to the lens, and comfort of the headset

Also, adjusting even a small thin framed spectacle after donning the Rift is a hassle.

The RIFT will eventually get the controller option, but unlikely the full-room experience option, which for my uses is a positive.

Rift and the list of VR applications is simply amazing.

The big difference was the Vive was simply more FUN with the Vive Wands; the Rift honestly lost it's 'fun' pretty quickly, especially if you're accustomed to playing on a 1440p screen

All Oculus Rift's and HTC Vive's suffer from god rays, and screen netting

Without them, the Rift is still good

Love my Rift, I could write a superlong review comparing it to the Vive, but just know it has better immersion

However, the Rift is the headset for the rest of us: those yet unwilling to dedicate a room of their house and their best gaming PC exclusively to VR

Overall, I have been enjoying the Oculus Rift and there still seems to be a good amount of games coming out regularly

As well as the Rift and sensor unit there is a small remote, Xbox One controller and an Xbox controller PC dongle, handy as I almost purchased one of these recently!Setup was surprisingly easy.

unacceptable!The Oculus Rift is awesome, unfortunately it appears that there are a lot of defective headsets

One other quibble is the Xbox remote, which was very finicky in pairing and made my first few minutes with the Rift pretty frustrating

Its a blast to play but the developers did not do enough r&d to make sure you have a flawless install

n’t want to scratch the lenses.
