Oculus Rift - Virtual Reality Headset

    • Oculus support was very prompt about helping me through the issues and in the end they sent a new headset which has resolved all the problems.
    • Not the support nightmares you hear about from HTC Vive users all over the net
    • Bad support and Facebook have created a walled garden
    • Applications bought and played within the Oculus store are relatively easily to launch and play; others, launched from within Steam, while the RIFT is supported, many titles will force you to switch between keyboard, controller, headset on, headset off, over and over
    • The game has to have native support in order for You to fully enjoy it, so don't hurt Yourself by caring for anything less
    • I've also plenty of reports that Oculus has horrible customer support, but I hope it isn't true
    • Update 3/19/17 -- a lot of reviewers are bitchin' about their systems crashing & crappy support from Oculus...blah, blah, blah...you need to have a robust system built for this thing -- no off-the-shelf WallyMart or BestBug budget computer.

    • Oculus support was not helpful and it took me two days must to get the headset to work.
    • Oculus Rift SupportYour technical support is maddening and you can be sure I’m going to share this information with as many as I can in the hopes that a more user friendly platform can be established.
    • Its a blast to play but the developers did not do enough r&d to make sure you have a flawless install
    • n’t want to scratch the lenses.
