My son has thrown this on the floor a few times and it still works great

Works great, draw back is EVERY time you have to manually let it know you don't want subtitles.

The second time, it worked okay, but then the third and subsequent times, it opened and immediately closed again

We Love It!After a few years of using a very frustrating Sony DVD player that had a 5-10 second delay every time you attempted to open or close the slot for the DVD as well as turning the unit on or off, this is a breath of fresh air

I really like is that if it sits idle for too long (haven't timed it to know specifically how long, but definitely enough time), it will turn off automatically

We have used this 2 or 3 times and it works great.
