I chose to put all of my real valuable gear in this case to protect it while all my other junk will be fine in just about any storage container, including a duffel bag or backpack.

Yes, the case is hefty but don't send a boy to do a mans job if you want it to protect your valuable gear

I got the one with the padded dividers and it held two cameras, multiple lenses: 70-200mm, 24-70mm, 50mm, 24mm, two battery chargers, two flashes, cleaning gear, full size tripod, flexible tripod and other gear
