7mm leads don't break

It's as if I'm using 5mm lead in a 7mm pencil.

I prefer a tough, slim, pocket-pencil with a big eraser and thick 0.7 mm lead

The 0.7mm lead doesn't break as easily as the 0.5mm does!
-
Pentel also makes options available if you prefer a 0.5mm lead (which I break very often) and 0.7mm lead (which are okay if that's your preference).

I need that everlasting eraser, and it's hard to break the 0.9mm lead.

These are ok and I love the 9mm lead.

The pencil itself is good and performs well; the .9mm lead is a good idea since I have a tendency to press down on the pencil when I write.

l love these Mech

Nice to find on Amazon as not always available at stores.

Eraser untested as of now.

After having owned these pencils for several months, I noticed the erasers on some of them would occasionally twist out by themselves as I used them, necessitating the need to twist them back several times during a crossword puzzle..
