• Reviews around volume (2.32 of 5)

Pyle Home PT270AIU 300-Watt Stereo Receiver AM-FM Tuner, USB/SD, iPod Docking Station and Subwoofer Control

    • and i pod will not work no amp function( NO VOLUME) to play from old ipodswill not play ipod from usb
    • When I turn the volume knob up "too" quickly, the volume keeps going up and won't respond to counterclockwise turns to go down (runaway volume?), however, this is easily "corrected" by turning the unit off and starting it again right away... which brings-up another interesting quirk:
    • Volume adjust dial doesn't work well
    • Volume on one channel dies out sometimes and you have to turn the volume knob to get it back.
    • Volume with 4 Dual outdoor speakers is plenty loud for our deck.
    • good price...the volume maxes out at 64dcbls not loud enough...should be able to crank it up if you want!
    • Lots of crackling when changing volume and just not worth the low performance.
    • The volume dial didn't work - there would be no sound from the input source even at what should have been an audible volume level, then after several minutes they would suddenly turn on (sometimes, though other times they wouldn't turn on at all), but then the volume dial wouldn't control the volume
    • Lasted 7 months and was never played at loud volume and has inexplicably quit amplifying... works, but barely produces any sound even at max volume.
    • Volume control does not work as expected
    • On the plus side, unit puts out adequate power/volume
    • I am returning it because you are unable adjust volume to proper level using remote or manual knob
    • Such as; mysteriously an on/off switch has been left off the remote, the input does revert to DVD each time you turn it on, as well as the volume is turned low (a benefit)
    • Did not know until i read the manual o well probably to late now?
    • Wonderful l will recommend this to my friends
    • remote doesnt work that well u have to be lined up center or really close for it to work
