The bottom profile is high, so at the top of the stairs poses a trip hazard
-
It’s also a tripping hazard at the top of the stairs and I stubbed my toe multiple times
-
I opted to put this on my sons door rather than the top of the stairs due to the tripping hazard (structural bar across the bottom).
-
Bottom line it is a trip hazard
-
Not safe for babies as the threshold is uneven and more of a trip hazard and could easily buckle
-
The metal frame at the bottom that goes along the ground seems to be a tripping hazard, you have to really watch for it each time, especially when going down the stairs
-
n’t be as hard to open or close
-
n’t love that part because it’s on the hallway
-
n’t want her to fall down the steps
-
Not as sturdy as id like it to be but does work great.
-
Pressure mounted doesn’t hold up week not recommended for stairs as it leaves a metal rod running through the bottom so the whole first step is deemed useless, also when using the extension pieces the entrance way is very
-
My son loves to come up to these gates on the stairs and shake them as hard as he can (11months 24 pounds)
-
Not as sturdy as I would
-
Only thing that slightly annoys me is that you have to pull back the lever to shut it as well as when you open it.
