    • It's warm, rich and inviting sound can make the tinniest of voices sound spectacular.
    • Excellent product, produces a crisp, clear sound for recording vocals
    • Nice sound
    • Excellent microphone , excellent sound , super recommended .
    • Getting low noise floor and nice sound on my recordings.
    • vocals sound clean and warm.
    • Very happy with the quality of the package as a whole and the sound I get out of this mic
    • Sturdy materials and great sound (although a bit sibilant/harsh in the grand scheme of things).XLR Cable, pop filter, shock mount, mic w/ cover and 10 year warranty plus tips and tricks DVD for around $230 is a STEAL!!!
    • On distant miking of choirs, piano and opera singers, the sound is really nice
    • great sound for the price point!
    • I now, with the mixing of this condenser mic and an Sm57, an incredible sound by allowing the 57 to pick up the low end tones and the NT1-A to sweep up all the higher ones
    • Cool crisp sound for an amazing price
    • It's a smoother, warm sound, and not harsh
    • This mic sounds very smooth and is better suited for fattening up thin vocals or taking the edge off of an acoustic guitar with new strings than many other condensers
    • Unfortunately I was not willing to sacrifice a good sounding vocal to high noise floors
    • but I don't like the sound it's giving the vocal
    • Before I removed the mixer, I didn't like the sound of my voice at all with the NT1A, sounded thin and fake
    • I would do this because it protects the mic and with some artists it get a better sound but not everyone
    • This out performs my at4033 mic and is killer for rap vocals, super crisp clean sound, I'm running this thru a saffire pro 14
    • However, it is not a warm mic at all, and can come out sounding rather sterile (but very clear) with some vocals.
    • In fact, I prefer the slightly more transparent sound without any pop filter when I can get away with it
    • Nice smooth sound and best of all "not expensive "
    • The highs sound tingy and harsh
    • I'm not getting any odd sounds in my recordings
    • Great sound
    • Great sound out of it
    • Incredible construction, solid, not heavy not light, and sound is amazing for vocals and acoustic instrument so as for amp recording
    • With today's world of value priced audio gear it is technical skill that will get you a great sound, this mic will just make that knowledge even easier to use.
    • The sound is crystal clear and crisp & its only $230
    • very nice sound
    • This microphone has a great sound do it, shock mount was exactly what I needed, and the price was unbeatable
    • This mike is very robust, well finished and the sound is incredible
    • Getting low noise floor and nice sound on my recordings.
    • Fantastic sound!
    • It has a strong professional sound, but it did take me a while to learn how to use it and the mixer I bought along with it
    • Besides it being so warm sounding, the other thing that you should know about it is that it has somewhat less sensitivity/gain than some other mics, which allows it to record higher SPL's like a trumpet, but also means that whispers on vocals won't be as strong either
    • and I get a great sound out of this for vocals as well as acoustic instruments.
    • A great mic, has excellent sound, and clarity
    • If you want a warm sound for your vocals, price-wise I would suggest something more in the line of an APEX 460 tube mic
    • its giving me a very accurate sound.
    • When i hear it through my headphones it sounds fine but when u play it back it sounds horrible and has a bad hissing sound to it
    • I also have an SM7B, which is definitely fuller than the other condensers I mentioned, but also was a little murky and had a slower, less detailed sound
    • He has gotten a lot of excellent feedback from the directors of voice acting roles he’s gotten saying how clear the sound is
    • It provides warm and rich sound for podcasts.
    • It has a pure, clean sound with zero feedback
    • fat sound
    • I now own the studio projects C1 and it is comparable to this one, bit the highs are a bit rolled off, it is a smoother more full sounding mic, the nt1a can sound very bright and sometimes thin on big voices but a good preamp can negate that.
    • Gets the job done, the sound is amazing, it eliminates background noise really well
    • Based on the reviews from experienced recorders, I expected a decent sounding mic for when a "good" studio mic wasn't available
    • I don't like a tinny sound when I try to record my own voice.
    • The mic sounds nice direct, but I typically run it through a good tube preamp and the sound is warm and pristine, with the only noise coming from the preamp
    • The sound is incredible and there is no noise picked up in my recordings whatsoever
    • It picks up the warm timbre in my bass voice in a natural, clean sound
    • Very nice sound and very high quality recording
