I had everything all set up, all my fave channels loaded in again and it has been running flawlessly for about a month now.

We have no problem with audio sync on Amazon, Netflix, or any of the free channels

If they're going to change them up, should be the most popular channels or else make them customizable even if they are selling placement with those keys

I feel this keeps them open to making sure every channel will be supported

I did not deduct any points for these missing channels as Amazon and Apple play similar games by not offering to allow you to play other suppliers’ entertainment content.

Unfortunately, it doesn't do what I had hoped - allow me to find all the HD broadcasts available in my area, PLUS let get my local channels AND cast from my laptop streaming content not available on Roku - like MSNBC

There are plenty of channels available and I am considering "cutting the cable" at our new home and just going with the OTA local channels we can get plus the streaming via Roku.

To my mind those two channels are not worth the extra money each month

After a couple of nights however, I noticed that when I selected Netflix, Amazon or Hulu (three very popular channels in our household) that it would show the channel logo for a split second and then return to the home screen

The number of usable HD channels is now more numerous than our previous cable provider.

There are still free Roku channels that even my fancy TV doesn't have (BBC America).I am able to hook this one up via ethernet directly to my router.

I don't know that it's an internet issue, as some channels stream beautifully, and the rest of our devices stream well.

This Roku has the ability to control the tv and make it turn on and switch to the correct channel with just 1 button push which makes or TV time require much less prep than using the PS3

after a few days of searching, I did find a few weird, random channels, but then I realized they were just streaming channels or programs like podcasts, that are available online

The fact that you need cable and have to subscribe to get other channels makes this product not very useful.

While I've been a Apple products user for many decades, I found that Apple TV didn't allow for Amazon, a competitor, as well as some other channels

The global search that searches for actors, movies, etc, is very quick and finds what I need across all available channels (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc)

I've had Roku boxes for years now, they only keep getting better, faster and more channels added..

I love all the channels and have an endless supply of things to watch.

channels - LIKE AMAZON PRIME - is complete rubbish

* Some apps (like Hulu) do not even show progress bars (you have to guess the ones you've seen if you watch out of order);* Remote control has no TV OFF button, so you always need to use your tv remote for that;* Integrated search doesn't really search on every app, and the voice search (for people that have ultra or old gen) is not as good as with Google and Apple.

Also, the 4K UHD channels would periodically freeze as though they were buffering

Have purchased the 4K yet but works as good as or better than the 3 on 1080p

I would like to upgrade my TV with a 4K Ultra 2080p as soon as I can afford.
