Being fully aware that you have to have internet access, also not all channels are free, subscribing to a few channels like Netflix, and Sling to view the majority of
-
while some channels play well with the roku not all and not youtube tv
-
Love all the channels.
-
I had everything all set up, all my fave channels loaded in again and it has been running flawlessly for about a month now.
-
We have no problem with audio sync on Amazon, Netflix, or any of the free channels
-
If they're going to change them up, should be the most popular channels or else make them customizable even if they are selling placement with those keys
-
I feel this keeps them open to making sure every channel will be supported
-
I did not deduct any points for these missing channels as Amazon and Apple play similar games by not offering to allow you to play other suppliers’ entertainment content.
-
I like the channels available, but if the device doesn't work why bother?
-
I am not impressed lots of problems accessing various channels.
-
Unfortunately, it doesn't do what I had hoped - allow me to find all the HD broadcasts available in my area, PLUS let get my local channels AND cast from my laptop streaming content not available on Roku - like MSNBC
-
There are plenty of channels available and I am considering "cutting the cable" at our new home and just going with the OTA local channels we can get plus the streaming via Roku.
-
To my mind those two channels are not worth the extra money each month
-
amazingly good product, easy to use, well designed, fast, endless channels
-
Everything is silky smooth, channels work, there are no audio problems, and it even looks more sleek
-
Love this so easy to set up and many many channels to choose from.
-
and I wanted a device that would offer me the widest range of available streaming apps or channels.
-
Be sure to check out all the free channels!
-
After a couple of nights however, I noticed that when I selected Netflix, Amazon or Hulu (three very popular channels in our household) that it would show the channel logo for a split second and then return to the home screen
-
The number of usable HD channels is now more numerous than our previous cable provider.
-
There are still free Roku channels that even my fancy TV doesn't have (BBC America).I am able to hook this one up via ethernet directly to my router.
-
Was easy to hook up with my Samsung 55inch UHD 4K TV, and all channels look great on it
-
BUT I didn't realize that there are so many free channel options like live network news, sports and programming channels too
-
Also, every single show and movie that I was worried I'd miss, can be found on one of the channels available
-
Sure, there are a few free movie channels, but most of the other good channels require a paid subscription
-
We liked the 3500 channels and the ability to connect directly to internet - wired; not wireless.
-
I don't know that it's an internet issue, as some channels stream beautifully, and the rest of our devices stream well.
-
lots and lots of free channels
-
I like the fact I can pay for just the channels I want as well as browse free channels that offer great content which
-
I can walk away from a TV, with the Premier+ on the home screen and come back again a couple hours later to find it streaming Newsy, or some other free channel.
-
it did the trick but bought this in hoping it would be faster loading channels, etc
-
Once our favorite channels is the Family Movies channel
-
This Roku has the ability to control the tv and make it turn on and switch to the correct channel with just 1 button push which makes or TV time require much less prep than using the PS3
-
oh sorry, "channel" - be it Netflix, Hulu, etc
-
Loving the Roku channel for movies and Playstation Vue for those channels we can't get with our antenna.
-
The numerous free channels are used daily and the free subscription trials are easy to enter and unsubscribe
-
(Could there be "too many" free channels?
-
have stuck to all the free channels and movies that i could get my hands onto & am still discovering movies & vids i didn't initially find.
-
I like the channels available, but if the device doesn't work why bother?
-
Lots of free channels
-
Great product, easy set-up, easy streaming, great choice of free channels
-
after a few days of searching, I did find a few weird, random channels, but then I realized they were just streaming channels or programs like podcasts, that are available online
-
The fact that you need cable and have to subscribe to get other channels makes this product not very useful.
-
It also fixed the problem I had with one of my favorite Roku channels not working anymore
-
The channels are easy to find, and it’s simple to add them to your list
-
While I've been a Apple products user for many decades, I found that Apple TV didn't allow for Amazon, a competitor, as well as some other channels
-
It uses Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon and still has a pile of extra free channels of junk to watch.
-
I got one and enjoyed the channels that came with it
-
Roku's myriad of free "channels" and a Prime subscription offer more than enough programming to make up for losing cable TV
-
It would constantly freeze, reboot itself, channels would lose audio, and some channels simply refused to run
-
The global search that searches for actors, movies, etc, is very quick and finds what I need across all available channels (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc)
-
I've had Roku boxes for years now, they only keep getting better, faster and more channels added..
-
I love all the channels and have an endless supply of things to watch.
-
3) why would the channels fail to open at all?
-
And I've been able to find at least some nominal replacements for the two missing channels using the Roku
-
LOTS of free channels of it
-
I am afraid other channels will stop working as well.
-
channels - LIKE AMAZON PRIME - is complete rubbish
-
* Some apps (like Hulu) do not even show progress bars (you have to guess the ones you've seen if you watch out of order);* Remote control has no TV OFF button, so you always need to use your tv remote for that;* Integrated search doesn't really search on every app, and the voice search (for people that have ultra or old gen) is not as good as with Google and Apple.
-
Also, the 4K UHD channels would periodically freeze as though they were buffering
-
Have purchased the 4K yet but works as good as or better than the 3 on 1080p
-
I would like to upgrade my TV with a 4K Ultra 2080p as soon as I can afford.
-
After 20 minutes of excruciating fun with Roku's offshore "read from the script" tech support, they finally issued an
