Rosewill 2.5-Inch SSD/HDD Mounting Kit for 3.5-Inch Drive Bay RDRD-11004

    • have one bracket that's over a year old and the fan still works quietly and even if it died then the worse case would be that your drive would be subject to warming up just like it would have in any other adapter without a fan
    • If you're replacing ssd's often, i'm sure a more durable metal bracket will be
    • The bracket worked fine for a single drive, which is all I needed.
    • Not sure what a bracket that turns a 3.5 inch housing into something useful with a 2.5 inch drive is good for if 2.5 inch drive connectors are different than 3.5 inch drive connectors
    • A good metal bracket with the ability to fit two SSD drives using side mount holes--works with Samsung 500GB SSD side hole mount (7.5mm).
    • For these reasons, I prefer the U-shaped bracket that used to come with many early SSDs and is readily available marketted under many different SSD brand names for two or three dollars more
    • This mounting bracket is great
    • Nice mounting bracket
    • The bracket works, but I purchased because it came with a fan
    • Did work as how I needed them to work
