Fat with enough brightness to give definition without being twangy

A long time user 30 years plus, always loved the brightness

The A,D, and G strings sound great

He wanted to try this guage and have found that 4 of the 6 packages he has opened ALL have "dead" E string issues, similar to previous reviews

The past three batches I've purchased have all had dead/floppy E strings

The low E is much louder than Ernie Ball Slinkys.
