Sony UBP-X800 Streaming 4K Ultra HD 3D Hi-Res Audio Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Built-in Blu-ray Player with A 4K HDMI Cable and Remote Control- Black

    • Moving on to the Panasonic, I had three incentives: (1) hoped-for higher reliability, (2) Dolby Vision, and (3) niche-of-niches, its current exclusive on being able to play 4K content from the Berlin Philharmonic’s Digital Concert Hall (The latter promises to make their 4K-enabled version available on other manufacturers’ Blu-ray players and smart TVs eventually, but at the time of this writing, it was available only on current Panasonic products.)My review, therefore, is based primarily on how much of an improvement the Panasonic is over my Sony, and this is an important comparison because the Panasonic costs more than twice as much as the current competing Sony model
    • For streaming, I use my smart TV, but if I didn’t have that, I would be using the Sony player because it can decode HDR10
    • This worked great up until a few days ago and now my tv says
