TCL 55S517 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD Roku Smart LED TV (2018 Model)

    • Nothing not to like, and so many functions and a free Roku channel with many movies so it is all very good
    • Great sharp text and rich colors with HDR as well as Roku integration and darn good speakers for a TV
    • -The Roku OS performs well with plenty of channels to choose from-Live preview of HDMI ports is fantastic-CEC is working with my Sony DH540 receiverCons:-Getting ARC to work requires 2 different options to be enabled in different location of Settings, I spent half an hour frustratingly trying to get it working until I found the 2nd option that was buried in the System settings.-The power cord for this TV is ridiculously short, too short to reach from a TV stand down to the floor and over to a power outlet
    • It is easy to use and the integrated Roku is wonderful.
    • TCL 55S517 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD Roku Smart LED TV (2018 Model)Pros:-Super easy setup-Easy to use remote-Well integrated internet services-HDR-Game Mode-Fast lag response time-Menus switch quickly-Connections: 3 HDMI 2.0, 2 USB 3.0, Audio Out, Cable/Sat/Antenna
    • No complaints makes Roku a breeze to use
    • My Roku 2 stopped supporting youtube 2 years ago (it would keep crashing), and around the same time the wifi connector gave out.
    • The roku function works seamlessly and plays all my favorite apps
    • We're about 35 miles from the TV towers in downtown Chicago and picked up all the major channels (and then some) on the LG.We decided to upgrade to 4K as well as size and saw all the rave reviews for TCL.
    • Pros:-Affordable 4K with HDR and DolbyVision-Works beautifully with AppleTV 4K and supports all video modes and refresh
    • Otherwise everything else looks pretty bad, tons of noise, even on native 4K content like daredevil on Netflix.
    • I had upgraded my Netflix to UHD, and they had 4K movies available to watch, but they as well as the standard HD were all out of synch.
