I've been looking for an affordable standing desk since I work from home and sitting all day without taking proper breaks was starting to cause shooting pains down my left leg and lower back pain

I have enjoyed this stand now for a little over a year, and I have to say that the versatility as well as quality of this stand are very good and at a very fair price, it is a must have for computer programmers or anyone that has to work on a computer all day

Set-up took a bit of time (about an hour), but the stand is sturdy and easy to roll about on a hard surface, If you plan to put a laptop on it, I would suggest using a rubberized pad to keep your computer from sliding and possible falling while the cart is moved.

Although it did take me over an hour for assembly, overall it is a decent stand

If (like me) you want to sit occasionally in between standing, I'd recommend having your "Mobile Laptop Stand" near a comfy chair so you can pull the laptop onto your lap and work for a while.

I am using this as a standing desk with a laptop and mouse - it works well enough for me though there is no spare room

Since standing was no problem she was able to burn some calories just by standing at her desk

Good as a stationary stand, be careful rolling this or moving to frequently

Overall, the stand exceeded my expectations and you can't go wrong for the price.

That being said, assembly took a while but was easy enough (I'd suggest having your own phillips head screw-driver, or drill with a phillips-head bit, as the one they provide tears up your hands) and in general, it seemed to be a stable, sturdy stand

the stand is really useful in a crowded house: it can fit easily in the living room next to reclining chair ,in the bedroom or in the patio.

Thing is, a good stand-up desk can run into many hundreds (even thousands) of dollars

So if you are tired of working on your butt and want to work standing for the obvious benefits to your back, hips and general health, this is money well spent.

This did cost a bit more than cheaper stands, but the small cost difference yields a huge bonus.
