Only think is its use is to plug the ethernet cable into it to boost wifi in weak areas

It's a very wi-fi dense area and almost every one of the twenty routers in range is operating on 2.4GHz - meaning at least 6 to 7 networks on each of the three interference-free channels.

You can also add extenders to this unit where needed if you have more wireless dead zones or areas where you need a hardline connection.

Pairing was a little tedious, but the instructions were relatively clear and concise as to how to do it.

I plugged in both units, turned my device on and it worked as if it was hard-wired to an Ethernet cable

They work wonderfully but keep in mind the connection won't be as good as if you were connected to the modem itself

It streams just as good as if the ethernet cabke was connected directly to the modem!

These little guys are cheaper than wifi boosters or relay devices and not using any of your wifi signal to operate, pretty happy as of right now!
