The only time I've dismounted it was on purpose to see how Yosemite handled missing libraries.
-
Wish it was alluminium brushed, put my iphoto&itunes library in it, fast enough no issues
-
and I was able to move the iPhoto library over and free up some space on the crowded
-
I just lost my entire Apple Photos library, which is now permanently corrupted
-
Since the Photos and iPhotos apps store all your files in one package, your entire library can conveniently get corrupted all at once
-
However, I'm constantly getting "disk not ejected properly" warnings to the point that the card is worthless to me (even if I didn't mind the warnings I'm not going to risk corrupting my photo library.!)
-
I dumped a 132GB Apple photos library on it, no problems.
-
Excellent i liked it ...
-
amazing I like it
-
It still works like it is supposed to as well as it did when I bought it.
-
Unfortunately it does have limitations as to what can be stored on it
-
I don't have to worry about connecting to my external drive as I've got this little item ready and waiting, as well as to hold extra media such as music or videos.

Using JetDrive Lite 130 128GB version with MacBook Air 13 (mid 2013).It's as fast as it says.
-
Work as it describe, plug in and work straight out from the box
-
While it works as it should ,t eh battery drain is quite pronounced
-
The JetDrive Lite works exactly as they say it does
-
It's OK, speed is not so fantastic as for internal SSD but good enough for not so critical
