Its expensive for a kid who wants a cheap turn table from urban outtfitters, but a bargain for the music lover wanted to get a no frills, high quality turn table at a great price

In all I would say you are getting a lot of turntable for your money here and with the exception of the hinges on this unit they have really done a lot of nice things at a reasonable price on an american made product.
