    • Reception with the supplied "suction cup" antenna is reasonable, but an inexpensive magnetic antenna (like from Hustler) makes a real improvement.
    • Nice scanner, just make sure you put a good antenna with it

    • I added a flexible antenna so I could slide the unit under the passenger seat and out of the way
    • It came with a regular aluminum adjustable antenna along with a corded antenna that will mount to a window with suction cups for improved reception
    • Doesn't pick up much, I guess you need a very good antenna system for this to work well.
    • The solid antenna for indoor use works well.
    • You may want to get a stronger antenna.
    • I have owned a significant number of radios over the years and must say this is a great unit for the $.I will also say that a scanner is only as good as the Antenna which is attached to it so before you give up on a radio add a better antenna first
