I bought the Uniden USB-1 programming cable to complement my Uniden BCD-396XT digital trunktracker scanner.

If your scanner is capable, Uniden usually includes a 9-pin serial cable

This cable and the freescan are absolute MUST have with a capable uniden scanner

With the cable, and some readily available software, programming the scanner was a breeze

Using the ARC XT PRO software I have had no issues transferring complex scanner configurations and controlling the scanners via PC control.

I ordered this with my BCD396XT and it has made programming and using my scanner so much easier

the scanner is to complex with out the software so this cable is nessessary
