In fact, the buttons won't light up until the screen goes dark.

I would have preferred a screen which can be read without being lit

The LED screen is nice, but I'm not sure it is better than the always on LCD.

The color graphic screen is very nice on this remote and you can customize the icon used for your DVD/satellite box/TV on the customizable macro buttons
