    USB 3.0 SATA Hard Drive Duplicator & Eraser Dock - Standalone 2.5/3.5in HDD & SSD Eraser and Cloner - Duplicator & Sanitizer

    • Device is not really appropriate for continuous use -- the hard drives will get quite hot after several hours.
    • A very flexible and useful device.

    • but there exist less costly devices with integrated wright blockers so even for this use its not well suited
    • Would have given it 5 stars but the SATA connectors on the sides make the device seem a little fragile
    • This device can be tricky to use if you don't have the jumpers on correctly

    • March 17 2017 update - Star Tech service is excellent, they shipped replacement the day after they received the defective device
    • If the SATA connector is old, oxidized, or connection loose, then this device will have a problem cloning it

    • You have to have USB3 slot for this unit,It may be backwards compatible (I DON"T KNOW), Do your own research, or buy an older model
