It has a wireless remote which means when the picture is bad, we just grab the remote, give it a little turn and bam

So an indoor antenna might be all you need depending on where you live and where the most towers are, but with this outdoor antenna I am pulling in clear pictures on all the available channels (including 1 listed as VHF which I could not pick up with the indoor antenna)

I'm giving this a 5 star due to it's ability to perform as described, awesome picture, get more channels than regular ol' cheapo rabbit ears

But you can do it blind by simply stoping rotating when you get a good picture

The antenna must be very directly aimed at the source for a clear non pixelated picture

We got more channels & better picture with our coax cable just hanging loose down the side of the house, than after being hooked up to the "amplified" Vilso unit.

This antenna brings in a perfect picture from stations 40 miles away

Works great! easy to assemble and set up and I got more channels with better picture quality than cable.

The result is a great picture, no rain fade, and I pay only about 20.00 a month for television (netflix subscription rate, and Hulu rate) had am no longer paying almost 80.00 per month for directv.
