ViolinSmart Full Size 4/4 Electric Violin Set, Black

    • I took the 10$ certificate, since I like the instrument
    • Those all work ok, and the instrument sounds good, and is playable enough that I can play scales and melodies on it, even from the first day.
    • The instrument is a little heavier than an "acoustic violin" and it will not support your shoulder rest--you will need to cut on a sponge or styrofoam to replicate the feel of your shoulder rest.
    • When I brought it to my guy, he said that the second instrument had the same warping defects and that it was worse than the first--that it looked like the glue holding the fingerboard to the body of the instrument was not sturdy and might fall off.
    • While it has the potential to be an awesome instrument, the initial effort may be a bit much for some to deal with.
    • There are bad reviews for every "cheap entry-level" stringed instrument, including guitars, and especially on ukuleles & violions that all say the same thing
    • That being said; this thing comes SOOO close to being a very nice instrument, and if you decide that the price and rather beautiful and intrigueing design make it a "what the hell, why not
    • Lots of fun, without the serious responsibility of an expensive instrument.
    • All in all, great instrument for the novice player or a multi-inturmentalist trying yet another instrument
    • So, if you are a new beginning violinist, and you are buying this item like so many other people, because you have always wanted to play violin and this looks cool...please be informed and don't blame the instrument for not staying in tune
    • It is perfect for a cheap practice instrument if noise is a problem where you live
    • Its a sturdy instrument and it gets great sound, especially through a reverb pedal
    • Of course it lacks the subtle resonance of an acoustic instrument, but that's to be expected of a solid-body electric instrument.
    • Finally, with all of the cute stuff available you might want to opt for a wood chinrest and tailpiece instead of the synth stuff on it, but ultimately that depends on how well you like this instrument and how much you like to individualize yer axe
    • This makes an excellent silent practice instrument, though it is a little heavy
    • This looks like one cool instrument.
    • Great bargain for a good instrument.
    • So, all in all, if you're on a budget and have a need for a quiet practice instrument (or if you just want a really cool looking electric
    • I knew from the cheap price that it wasn't going to be a world class instrument, and yes you can tell that it is a cheap instrument.
    • It's not a bad sounding instrument, especially with as cheap as it is, but you can't vibrato on it
    • But it is still Great instrument For Beginners and/ or Intermediates
    • This instrument has no obvious flaws
    • I would recommend this instrument, however I note three annoyances:*)
    • After several alterations, I really like this instrument
    • Overall, I would strongly recommend this instrument
    • i am very happy with this product although my only concern was the flimsy E-string
    • While a professional violin does only have an e-string fine tuner, I prefer to have all four
